What happens during a lip injection session

1​​Initial consultation

An aesthetic and medical assessment is carried out to understand your expectations, evaluate the shape and movement of your lips, and recommend a personalised injection plan.

2​​​The injection

The treatment is performed at the practice, with or without anaesthetic cream depending on your sensitivity.
The hyaluronic acid used is soft and specifically designed for delicate tissues such as the lips.
The injection is done with a needle or cannula, at a few strategic points for a harmonious result.

Duration: 20 to 30 minutes
Back to normal activities: immediately (expect some slight temporary swelling)

3​​After the treatment

  • Slight redness or swelling is possible for 24 to 48 hours

  • Some light bruising may occasionally appear

  • The result settles within 4 to 7 days
